Angela (she/her) was named perfectly—she's the office angel, especially when it comes to keeping our little practice running. She is the yin to our yang, organizing all of our brains for us. Her kindness, dedication, and empathy are just a few of the qualities that make her truly awesome. She is the one that makes it possible for us to put patients first by helping to create and promote our structure and organization. She literally knows everything about our practice and is one of the most spectacular humans we've ever had the pleasure to work with.
Heather (she/her) brings that extra something special to our practice at Thriving Mind Psychiatry. She's the people whisperer who will listen, show compassion, and encourage you to be your authentic self. With her extensive knowledge about the challenges that arise during your mental health journey, she is an invaluable resource. If you have questions or just need someone to listen for a few minutes, Heather is your go-to. She can assist with triage and concerns, and let’s be honest, she is one of the coolest people to talk to. Heather and Tyler have worked together for a long time, sharing the same passion for compassionate and inclusive care. Together, they started this practice with one goal in mind: exceptional patient care through innovative treatments and solutions.
Rylan (she/her) is here to help with pretty much anything related to mental health and wellness. We lovingly call her the JOAT (Jack of all trades) at Thriving Mind Psychiatry. She can assist with initial scheduling, communication, prior authorizations, Spravato, billing, and so much more. As a compassionate and empathetic ear, she shows patience with everyone she meets. Once you get to know her, she’s sure to win you over with her dedication, perseverance, and unwavering kindness. We can't wait for you to meet her and say hello. She's also the mom of two super rad toddlers.
Nicole (she/her), is the newest member of our team and we are so lucky to have her. We are sure you will love her. She is an experienced certified nursing assistant, with a background in patient care, scheduling, and administrative work. She agrees that patient care is the number one priority and she can't wait to become a part of our community providing outstanding mental health care.
The "dog-tor" is in. And now, Murphy! This silly little guy is a little more cat than he is dog (probably a little goat in there too). Although he sticks to his mom like glue he will probably come out and say hello. Even though he looks like an old man who lives part time in a dumpster, he's actually just turning 2. We are working on his communications skills because once he stopped barking his hello has turined into what sounds like a growl. Don't let it fool you, he's tolerant and kind and let's a 4-year-old jump and lay on him without complaints. His hobbies include: chasing balls, behaving like a cat, sniffing shoes, and making sure we are safe from moths, birds, or other terrifying creatures.
The "Psy-cat-atrist" is in at Thriving Mind Psychiatry. Our newest team member, Buffy, will happily distract you with her silly antics. If you're allergic to cats, no worries; we have a cat-free space (and she's fed allergy reduction food). Many times, her presence can be even better than medication and she's become an expert in her specialty of toy chasing, tree climbing, snuggling, and just being cute—bringing joy to those seeking a little kitty cuddle.
